2 month appt

McKenzi went in for her 2 month appt this week.

She now weighs 10 lbs 7 oz
(she went from the 9th percentile to the 36th)

She is 22.36 inches long
(58th - 46th percentile)
(does she have to start standing before they say tall and not long? lol)

She had her shots. She's had a rough time since. She's had fevers and cried alot. :(

Workin Babe

I have been trying to get some appraisals finished these past few weeks. It is really hard to get work done with an infant. McKenzi is a pretty good baby, but nursing and working done quite work together sometimes. My mom has been over alot this summer, helping with MJ so I can work. I don't know what I am going to do when school starts again and my mom and sister have to go back to work.

This picture is from the other day. Auntie Casey rode with us to Hurricane to I could take some pictures and do an inspection. My aunt Toni jokingly said my sister and I are baby slave drivers because MJ comes along in the car (and 'works'). Casey and MJ waited in the car while I did the inspection.

My cousin Summer's daughters, Jessica and Mia, came to stay with Grammie Helen for the week. While they were here, Jessica turned 10, so, we had a little party for her. I decorated the cake. The girls had fun playin with McKenzi.

Visitors from Delaware

My mom's sister Toni and my cousin Leah have been here for the past week. It was their 1st time meeting McKenzi. It has been fun to have them here. Everyone jokes that our entertainment is just sitting around and staring at MJ all day, even when she's asleep.

I think this picture was taken about 2 weeks ago. McKenzi got dressed up to go to a baby shower. She didn't last long with the bow on her head. We are trying to convince her that she likes them though. She is starting to smile alot more and move her arms and legs a ton. She also loves toys.
