4 Month Checkup - 4 months & 6 days old

McKenzi went to the doctor today. Here are her stats:

weight: 12 lbs 14 oz (29%)
height: 24.17 inches (42%)
head: 15.7 inches (22%)

The doctor said that she has low muscle tone, and that she needs more time on her tummy and back. She already gets a lot of that, because she would rather play on the floor than be held. Her neck is still a little wobbly and she needs to put more weight on her legs. Hopefully she will get stronger and be right on track by the next appointment. She had to get shots today too. :(

We got this cute clock for McKenzi's Room.

McKenzi and Aunite were worn out too.

We went on a girls outing to Santa Clara Swiss Days. We checked out the booths and shared fish and chips. We got some hair clips, doll, and clock for McKenzi, and the big girls got earrings. It was really hot out, but we still had a lot of fun!

McKenzi is 4 months old today

She loves to put everything in her mouth! Lately she has been grabbing her CLEAN diapers before I can get them on her. Mmmmm......Yummy! :)

She is smiling, giggling, rolling over, and talking lots of baby talk. She just realized that she can talk really loud. It's so cute!!! She loves to play with her toys. She is still wearing 3 month clothes, and just started wearing size 2 diapers. I can't believe how big she is getting!!! She goes to the doctor next week for her four month appointment. I feel bad that she will have to get shots, but I am excited to see what her new stats are! We are having so much fun with her!!! We love you so much McKenzi!!!

We took a drive to Pine Valley where we were married. There weather was so nice! We barbecued Mexican tacos and had corn, rice, and beans for dinner. We followed tradition and ate our wedding cake that we saved in the freezer all year.

A lot has changed in the past year. We got married, sold Chad's house, Chad got a new job, and we welcomed precious McKenzi into our family. We are excited to see what awaits us in the upcoming year!
